Although each organization makes characteristic efforts on campus sustainability, cross-cutting view-exchanges including assessment method are not active.

It is imperative to establish an organization in Japan such as AASHE or EAUC !!

GHG and CO2 reduction goal

Our goal is to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission by 2 percent per unit area every year.

■1% Reduction throughFacility energy efficiency renovation

■1% Reduction throughEnergy conservation and behavior change

in Fukushima without nuclear energy (Fukushima College) Point: Importance of raising younger generation on sustainable

development toward our sustainable and bright future in Fukushima

(1) Education and Training for Regional Rehabilitation in the fields of Renewable Energy, Nuclear Safety and Disaster Mitigation

① Establishment of a special course in the advanced course (plus 10 students) ② Opening of additional subjects related to regional rehabilitation in the regular

course ③ Establishment of special training programs for the community and the regional

private companies ④ Organizing seminar, forum, symposium, consultation, etc. on the above-

mentioned three fields
