A large number of individuals, Self-Help groups and even Corporate entities in the past have associated themselves with various interventions on Ganga and its bank either offering shram daan for cleaning the banks and Ghats or for construction of Ghats, Crematoria and providing other amenities on and around Ganga. As such, participating in 'Namami Gange' activities provides a unique opportunity to Corporates for associating themselves with the national cause of rejuvenation of river Ganga.
