Reasons why I determined to do this project

ABOUT GLOBAL CITIZENS-what do we know about this topic? I wanted to know more about global citizens.

Because importance of being an global citizens are emphasized.

1. Thinking of whole world.-In other word, problems of the world, is your problems and

things you have to solve.

Examples- Global warming - Economy crisis - Other environment problems - Large gaps between rich and poor –

Economy crisis - Child Labor

Characteristics of global citizensWorking for the world peace or help things

that benefits the world and society. -Could be Greenpeace, UNICEF, or world vision etc help other poor children, save electricity, fossil fuels,

water.. -This is protest of child labor and nature

-We should help the poor and save energy such as water to make our environment cleaner like the past.

Thinking that Korea (for me) is not the whole world.

-We should think our back ground is world, not oneself country.

-Most important characteristics because if you help all the people but not willing to be global citizen, it’s no use.

Reasons why global citizen is important

World is in danger. So, global citizen’s function is emphasized to help the society.

Technology, and our science has developed so we can see whole world by computer or radio. And our future is not just working in own country, but world(global) citizens helping each other.

Conclusion

While making this powerpoint, I wished that everyone would be global citizens and help each other. I think this contest gave me a lesson like characteristics of global citizens and myself. I feel proud of myself and will continue to be a good global citizen who work for society and world.
