STEP 1 Construct the sides with 2 ½” screws and wood glue. You may choose to use pocket holes or another joinery method here.

STEP 2 Construct the carcass. Attach the 2x2 supports with 2 ½” screws and wood glue.

STEP 3 Attach the 2x4 supports as shown, with 2 ½” screws and wood glue.

STEP 4 Attach the 2x4 supports as shown, using Simpson Strong-Tie RTA2Z Rigid Tie™ connectors and 1 ¼” Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive screws. Additionally, attach the gusset angles underneath the shelves to reinforce the joints. Then using a 1 ¼” hole saw, drill holes into the posterior stiles for the pipes to sit in.

STEP 5 Install casters. Pre-drill pilot holes and use a 7/8” forstner bit to countersink holes so that the locking nuts will sit just below the surface of the wood. Insert carriage bolts from the bottom up so that the locking nuts are on top.

STEP 6 Pre-drill and countersink pilot holes into the middle and bottom shelf boards, then attach them with 1 ¼” screws and wood glue.

STEP 7 Pre-drill and countersink pilot holes into the tabletop boards, then attach them with 1 ¼” screws and wood glue.

STEP 8 Insert pipes then screw a cap on each end. Finally, attach the Simpson Strong-Tie A44 angles as shown.
