〔解説〕 横川定教授の指導のもとで錦織正雄氏がなされた Centrocestusjormosanus(NJSHJGORJ， 1924)

に関する五島博士のお手紙である。錦織氏は淡水の小魚、から発見したメタセノレカリアを追及して遂

に成虫までの観察を詳細になされた。そこで五島博士の意見により 『一新吸虫スタムノゾーマ，ホ

ノレモザーヌム (Stamnosomajormosanum n. s.) 並に其発育史=就テ』という題で(台湾医学会

雑誌234号，大正 3年 5月30日発行〕に発表された。その後 PRJCE(1932)により Sta間 nosomaは

Centrocestusの syn.とされたので Centrocestusjormosanusとな ったのである。

この手紙は横川宗雄教授から先年館に寄贈されたもので，館では表装して保管しているものであ
