RESULTS OF PHASE I Capabilities of the targeted
engineers on specific techniques and skills had been enhanced in general.
Further needs of assistances for strengthening comprehensive management process of road and bridge maintenance.

BASIC POLICY ON PHASE II Strengthen effects and outputs by the Phase I. Issues/activities which remain not undertaken
in Phase I (road slope maintenance, engineering inspections on bridges, pilot projects for road slope stability and bridge repair, etc.) shall be included in Phase II.
Strengthen comprehensive management cycle of road and bridge maintenance.
Project period: 3 years Budget allocation by Philippine Government
for Phase 2 (esp. for implementing pilot projects) is pre-condition. 21 22
