5. Data kegiatan praktek

Sistem pengapian pada kendaraan menghasilkan tegangan tinggi yang diperlukan

untuk membakar campuran bahan bakar dan udara didalam silinder pada motor

bensin.

Sistem pengapian harus mampu menghasilkan percikan bunga api pada busi pada

waktu yang tepat, yaitu beberapa derajat sebelum pisto TMA pada langkah

kompresi. Percikan bunga api yang dihasilkan dari busi akan membakar campuran

bahan bakar dan udara sehingga menghasilkan usaha ( tenaga ).

Pelumas memegang peranan penting dalam desain dan operasi

semua mesin otomotif. Umur dan service yang diberikan oleh mobil

tergantung pada perhatian yang kita berikan pada pelumasannya.

Pada motor bakar, pelumasan bahkan lebih sulit dibanding pada

mesin-mesin lainnya, karena di sini terdapat panas terutama di

sekitar torak dan silinder, sebagai akibat leadakan dalam ruang

pembakaran.
