Backgrounds
- Global Warming : that cause the water to decreased in a extreme level, but not balanced with the water reproduced (from water cycle)
- Extreme Heat level : in Surabaya the UV level can Reach level 12, at 12 pm – 1pm
- Planology : No proper planning from the government regarding the issue of soil degradation from water usage.
- Urbanitation : Increasing human population make water usage higher and higher
What we are analyzed?
- Sanitation Device and its specification (water output volume, Heating Capacity, Flush Capacity, Diameter, Energy Usage, its Distribution (Supply chain Management, etc)

- We also give attention to some brands that included “ECO” label on its Products, which is mean that product have been standarized to use few water and energy
How Climate changes can effect the water cycle
Survey at the Kenjeran area, which is some rural area that needPretty much attention in order to achieve the sustainable goal for the water usage
Conclusion
- Surabaya still need so many improvement regarding the sustainbale water city system- From the data we collected, there are still so many products that dont have the ECO label - Government need to enclosed this case as a serious enviromental threat- Government need to control the distribution of sanitation device in surabaya city to maintain water Consumption and its dispossal
Essay 2 : Peran Mahasiswa Dalam Penciptaan Energi Baru dan Terbarukan : Piezoelectric Material
Piezoelektrik berasal dari bahasa Yunani yaitu piezo yang artinya tekanan dan elektrik yang berarti listrik. Material piezoelektrik adalah suatu bahan yang apabila diberi stress (tekanan) mekanik akan menghasilkan medan listrik, sebaliknya apabila medan listrik diterapkan pada bahan piezoelektrik akan terjadi deformasi mekanik atau perubahan dimensi bahan
adalah beberapa contoh dari material/ bahan piezoelektrik alami yang ada di alam diantaranya : Kuarsa (Quartz, SiO2), berlinite, turmalin dan garam rossel. Bahan piezoelektrik buatan diantaranya: Barium titanate (BaTiO3), Lead zirconium titanate (PZT), Lead titanate (PbTiO3)
