ExperienceGaia Technologies plc June 2016 – Present

For the majority of the summer, I have worked in a technology company called Gaia Technologies. The company specializes in and focuses on installing and providing technology systems for schools throughout the UK. I specifically work in the Stores department, where it is my responsibility to take in stock, and issue the stock out to various engineers and schools throughout the country. I am responsible for over £3 million worth of stock and have to work to extremely precise and thorough procedures to avoid costly mistakes.

In February 2016, I partook in a four day mini-pupillage at 7 Harrington Street Chambers in Liverpool where I shadowed a Mr Peter Reed in a family law case at the Liverpool Civil Court, I shadowed a Miss Hannah Brookfield in two personal injury cases at the Liverpool Civil Court and finally shadowed a Mr Neil Bisarya over three days in a Criminal trial in the Liverpool Crown Court. I gained experience in all types of advocacy from both the barristers I shadowed and the barristers on the opposition.

Inspired Gaming March 2010Computer company that was responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of touch screen gaming machines in bookies and pubs. It was all handled remotely off-site unless an engineer was required to fix the machine, in this instance it involved phoning up the customer and organizing the engineer’s arrival and fixing of machines. For my work experience, I helped organise the dispatch of engineers, maintenance of machines and upkeep of databases.

Shands Stores April 2003 – April 2006I worked in my Parents store helping stock the shelves, date rotate the products and provide customer service. I worked from a young age, which I think, helped improve my confidence when talking with strangers and helping people with problems they have.
