JASCO Annual Japanese Speech Contest

Since 1999, the Japan-America Society of Central Ohio’s Japanese Language Speech Contest has been an annual event designed to highlight the power of foreign language communication at the high school and university level.

JASCO has collaborated with the Japanese Student Organization at The Ohio State University in organizing this event.

It is our belief that this competition not only promotes the refinement of student’s linguistic skills, but also strengthens the bond between the United States and Japan through their efforts.

The Japanese Student Organization of The Ohio State University provides a meeting ground of interest in Japanese language and culture. JSO offers a place for cultures to blend and members to expand their interests through events and functions that showcase Japanese language and culture.
