Prezentácia Julie Oravecz a Judit Schanz na konferencii Mesto pre ľudí, ľudia pre mesto, ktorá sa konala od 24/3 do 27/3 v priestoroch KC Dunaj. --- Júlia študovala dejiny umenia na Univerzite Eötvösa Loránda (ELTE) a magisterské štúdium ukončila na Vysokej škole umení a dizajnu Moholyho-Nagya v Budapešti. Vo svojej diplomovej práci skúmala európske agentúry na dočasné využívanie nehnuteľného majetku a možnosti využitia ich postupov v kultúrnom kontexte Maďarska. Pracovala na rôznych projektoch v Budapešti a Berlíne so zameraním na sociálne a ekonomicky udržateľné bývanie v mestách prostredníctvom demokratizácie dizajnu. --- Design manager. Julia studied History of Art at ELTE Science University (Budapest) and completed her MA Studies at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (Budapest). In her master thesis she examined European interim property use agencies and the adaptability of the practices in the Hungarian cultural context. She has been working on different projects in Budapest and Berlin with a common focus on socially and ecologically sustainable living in the cities through the democratization of design. ------ Sociologička mesta. Judit je od roku 2011 členkou KÉK – Centra pre súčasnú architektúru a od roku 2013 manažérkou programu Lakatlan, ktorého cieľom je nájsť opusteným budovám v Budapešti nový a inovatívny spôsob ich využitia. Počas ostatných desiatich rokov pracovala v ôsmom obvode v Budapešti na programoch lokálnej mestskej revitalizácie, vrátane komunitného domu Kesztyűgyár (bývalá továreň na rukavice), ako aj programoch sociálnej integrácie. Študovala sociológiu mesta na Fakulte sociálnych vied na Univerzite Eötvösa Loránda (ELTE). --- Urban sociologist. Judit has been a member of KÉK – Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre since 2011 and a project manager of KÉK’s Lakatlan programme focusing on the innovative reuse of vacant properties since 2013. In the previous 10 years she worked in Budapest’s 8th District on local urban rehabilitation programmes, including the Kesztyűgyár (Glove factory) Community House and its social integration programmes. She studied Urban sociology at ELTE Univerity’s Faculty of Social Sciences (Budapest).
