The system that requires the internet board administrator to identify
the user who wants to submit information on the board. (July, 2007 in operation)
- After identification once, users may use ID or nickname – Freedom of expression guaranteed
Give responsibility to the users not to write vicious replies,
Aid to find victimizer information in case of sue by the victim
Considering that the dysfunction of internet in all types of services,
the mandatory identification is extended to the internet service companies
whose visit count is above 100,000 per day- Amendment of the acts of information network enhancement and privacy (2009.1.28)
If not, command of readjustment by Korea Communications Commission,
further, penalty maximum 30 million won (Network Law, Art. 76 Par.1, 6)
