The exhibition, “HOKUSAI UPDATED,” will be held at Mori Arts Center Gallery (Roppongi, Tokyo) until March 24. Covering his 70-year career, this is an exhibition of 480 works by ukiyo-e (woodblock print) artist KATSUSHIKA Hokusai. Not only well-known works, but also works displayed to the public for the first time, as well as masterpieces owned by various parties inside and outside of Japan, and works that have been rediscovered recently, will be shown.
