Der Nachdruck dieses Katalogs ist, auch auszugsweise, nur mit besonderer Erlaubnis gestattet.

Die angegebenen Daten wurden gewissenhaft ermittelt, sie geben jedoch nur Richtwerte an und befreien Sie nicht von der eigenen Prüfung der von uns gelieferten Produkte auf ihre Eignung für die beabsichtigten Zwecke.Verarbeitung und Anwendung der Produkte erfolgen außerhalb unserer Kontrollmöglichkeit und liegen daher ausschließlich in Ihrem Verantwortungsbereich.

Die Abbildungen und Zeichnungen sind nicht unbedingt maßgebend. Die Gewichtsangaben sind annähernd und schließen die Kartonverpackung mit ein. Nach Möglichkeit sind nur komplette Normalverpackungen zu bestellen.

Informationzu Rund Mehrdrähtigen Verdichteten Leitern (RMV)

zur Verwendung von Press-verbindern und Presskabelschuhen bei Mittelspannungskabeln

Auf Grund zunehmender Auslastung der EVU-Mittelspannungsnetze und des Einsatzes von verdichteten Al-Rundleitern treten bei den Quer-schnitten 185 mm2 und 240 mm2 vermehrt Erwärmungsprobleme mit Konuspressverbindern und Presskabelschuhen nach DIN-Abmessungen auf.

Für diese Leiterquerschnitte empfehlen wir daher die Verwendung von Pressverbindern und Presskabel-schuhen mit angepaßtem Innen-durchmesser (RMV-Serie).

Bei kleineren Querschnitten (=< 150 mm2) sind bislang keine Störungen, die auf Kontaktprobleme hinweisen, bekannt geworden.

Sollten bei Garniturenprüfungen jedoch höhere Anforderungen als nach VDE 0278 gefordert werden, so müssen auch für Querschnitte =< 150 mm2 angepaßte Press-verbinder und Presskabelschuhe (RMV-Serie) verwendet werden.

Informationon Round Stranded Compacted Conductors in MV

for the application of hexagonal crimp connectors and lugs

Due to the increased use of round stranded compacted XLPE cables, crimp connectors and lugs acc. to DIN-standard - esp. for cable cross sections 185 mm2 and 240 mm2 could provoke heating problems.

For these cross sections we recommend the application of special connectors and lugs with an adjusted inner diameter (GPH's RMV-series).

For smaller cross sections (=< 150 mm2) we have no knowledge of such problems. However, when charging a joint higher than acc. to VDE 0278, we recommend even for cross sections =< 150 mm2 the use of connectors and lugs of GPH's RMV-series!

Information zurHandhabung vonPresskabelschuhen

Allgemeine Hinweise

Alle Pressverbinder und Presskabelschuhe sind neben der Querschnittsangabe und dem Herstellerzeichen mit der Werkzeugkennzahl gestempelt, die etwa dem Außendurchmesser der Hülse entspricht. Dieser Kennzahl folgend wird der erforderliche normierte Presseinsatz gewählt, der mit der gleichen Ziffer gekenn-zeichnet ist.

Die Sechskant-Pressungen werden mit mecha-nischen oder hydraulischen Werkzeugen ausgeführt. Die Einsätze der mechanische Presswerkzeuge sind neben der Kennzahl zusätz-lich mit "Cu" oder "AI" gekennzeichnet, je nach Pressmaterial, für das Sie verwendbar sind.

Mit "Cu" gestempelte Presseinsätze werden Verbinder aus Kupfer, Bronze oder Stahl ver-presst. Einsätze mit der Bezeichnung "AI" sind für Verbinder aus Aluminium bzw. Aluminium-Legierung zu verwenden.

Bei hydraulischen Werkzeugen ist eine Unterscheidung hinsichtlich der Leiterwerkstoffe nicht erforderlich.

Hinweise zur Montage

1. Seil- bzw. Kabelisolierung auf Länge der Hülsenlänge (a + 10 %) absetzen (Bild 1 und 2)

2. Seil- bzw. Kabelenden von Schmutz- und Oxydschichten mittels Drahtbürste reinigen

3. Seil- bzw. Kabelenden bis zum Anschlag/bzw. Sichtloch in der Presshülse einschieben

4. Vor der Verpressung Kennzahl des Presskabelschuhs mit Kennzahl des Werkzeugeinsatzes auf Übereinstimmung prüfen

5. Presskabelschuhe werden von der Laschenseite zur Leiteröffnung hin ver-presst. (siehe 3. und 4.)

6. Die Anzahl und Position der Pressstellen ist durch Markierungsstriche angedeu-tet. Wichtig: Immer alle vormarkierten Pressungen auszuführen

7. Kontrolle: Die Längung der Hülse durch das Pressen mit korrekten Leiter, Kabelschuh, Werkzeugkombination beträgt bei Kabelschuhen ca. 5%.

Information on the handling compression cable lugs

General Information All compression joints and compression cablelugs are stamped with cross section specifica-tion, manufacturer's logo as well as die code number, corresponding roughly to the outer diameter of the sleeve. Select the compression tool die corresponding to this code.

The hexagon compressions are carried out bymeans of mechanical or hydraulic tools.According to the compression material separate dies (“Alu” or “Cu” marked) have to be used.

“Cu” marked dies have to be used for copper, bronze or steel joints. Designated "Al" dies are used for aluminumor aluminum alloy joints.

In the case of hydraulic tools differentiation regarding the conductor materials is not neces-sary.

Assembly instruction:

1. Strip conductor to sleeve length a +10% (image 1 and 2)

2. Remove dirt and oxide layers from con-ductor using a metal brush

3. Insert conductor into compression sleve up to the stop or inspection hole

4. Before compression verify the die code with the compression mark number on the lug

5. Start compression from the palm side to the barrel end (image 3 - image 4)

6. The number and position of the com-pression points is indicated by marking lines. Attention: All markings must be compressed

7. Final Check: The extension length of the sleeve is about 5 % by correct compressi-on with correct conductor - cable lug - die - combination

8. Remove excess grease
