1.SMEAG English Camp Overview (1)
SMEAG Education Center is a professional English learning resource center located in Cebu,
Philippines. It is a private educational institution specializing in English that has been
accredited by TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) and have been
granted the SSP (Special Study Permit) issued by the Bureau of Immigration. More than 850
students are studying at the three centers with each campus having its own specialized
program.

- ACT is an organization which produces standardized tests for high school achievement and college admissions in the
United States along with the SATs.
- ACT Inc. produces the ACT Test and also owns GMAT Test Development Rights for MBA admissions.
- ACT provides assessment, research, information, and program management services in the broad areas of education
and workforce development.
- Manage 12 offices in the USA, where students in more than 126 countries can take the test for high school
achievement and college admissions.
GAC (Global Assessment Certificate)
- The Global Assessment Certificate program is a product of ACT Education Solutions, Limited (a wholly owned
subsidiary of ACT Inc.), university preparation program for international students. SME Philippines Training Center is
one of 120 GAC centers in 12 countries. Currently, there are about 9,000 students in the program preparing to
study abroad.

- ACT English Proficiency Program is designed for students who wish to learn and use English effectively in both the

by ACT
- EPP Program applies a traditional American English teaching method for ESL learners.
