Milí rodiče,

v tomto měsíci nás čeká téma Město & Vesnice, mladší děti pak téma Jídlo. S většími dětmi si budeme povídat o základních rozdílech mezi životem na vesnici a ve městě; jaké budovy, povolání a instituce zde můžeme najít. Součástí tohoto tématu jsou i základy slušného chování, jak u starších, tak i u mladších dětí. Připomeneme si svátek Den matek a vyrobíme drobné dárky.

Od tohoto měsíce můžete dětem do školky připravit kloboučky proti slunci, ochranný krém, případně

sluneční brýle.

1. Fruit and Vegetables Playing with the meaning of ‘nice’ and ‘not nice’ , I like/I don’t like. Presentation of the words: yummy, yucky Introduction of the phrases ”Would you like”,’ yes’,‘no’ Introduction of all kinds of fruit and vegetables: apple, banana, orange, grapes, tomato, cucumber, capsicum, potatoes etc.

2. Bread and Cake The meaning of ”What’s that?”, playing with ‘salt’ and ‘fl our’. The meaning of ‘mix’,’ water’, ‘knead’, ‘dough, bread, cake’ in play. The meaning of the words ‘oven’, ‘bake’ in play. Introduction of words: sugar, sweet, icing. Presentation of a new song: „Pat a cake“ or „Hot cross buns“

3. Drinks Presentation of the words: water, tea, juice, milk, etc. The meaning of ”Do you want” repetition of ‘nice’ and ‘not nice’. The meaning of Yes, please, No, thank you. Presentation of the words: bottle, cup, glass, straw Playing with the words water, tea, juice, milk etc. in context.

4. Other Food The meaning of What’s your favorite food? Presentation of the new words: pizza, spaghetti, rice, meat etc. The meaning of cooking. Playing with words in context. Revision of the words and phrases taught in May.
