New Green field Kishangarh Airport is being constructed to facilitate pilgrims, business and other personnel visiting Ajmer Sharif, Pushkar Brahma Temple and Marble business as Kishangargh is known for Marble business in our country. Kishangarh Airport spread in approx 800 acre land and can accommodate 150 passengers (75 arrival and 75 departure), with two parking bays for Q400 series type of aircraft. It is a low cost Airport being constructed nearby area of Ajmer District, also Airport in a city providing the live example of systematic cleanness. Airport construction is going on in Kishangarh covering small area as compared to other big size airports however efforts are being made to provide all the basic facilities provided at major airports. Every effort is put to keep the construction site as well as project office clean and environment friendly. Various awareness camps are also organised.

Along with Airport construction works AAI Kishangarh team took special interest for CSR works under Swachh Bharat Abhyaan . Team was constituted by the Project in charge to carry out the survey of the schools in Kishangarh and Ajmer areas. Accordingly team visited various schools at Kishangarh and Ajmer. Pankaj Agrawal SM(E-C) and team taken special interest and surveyed many of school (nearly 40 nos) .During the visit to schools in Silora village team found that although school is neat and clean also well maintained however was surprised to come across that there is no separate toilet available for girl students, which is the basic facility and right of the every students, AAI Kishangarh team took up the construction of the toilet work on priority. Accordingly construction work of the toilet took place on 1st January, 2016 with in 10 days of approval granted from CHQ.

While construction of the toilet started on 1st January, 2016. Principal of the school informed that they along with the local bodies are planning to organise a rally “Jagrookta under Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan and carrier day progression” conveying the message to do not defecate in open. Airport Authority of India Kishangarh unit also Cordinator/participated in the rally and interacted with local villagers at Silora , Udaipur kala , Udaipur khurd and nearb by dhanies to educate them about the benefits of keeping the cleanliness and harms about defecating in the open. Construction work of the toilet for girl students was completed well before the committed target date and was handed over to school on 25th January,2016 on the eve of Republic day of our nation. In addition to this AAI employees started campaign “Spare your toys”. Toys were collected and distributed to under privileged students of this school on 4th Febuary,2016 to bring smile on their faces; similarly toys were also distributed to other schools in Kishangarh and Ajmer. This has encouraged the children to attend the school and attendance in the schools has improved appreciably.

Similarly construction of the Toilet for girls in the school at village Narver started by AAI and completed on 05/04/2016 and handed over to the school. In addition to above approval from CHQ is received for CSR works under which pure drinking water , repairing of rain water harvesting system, providing shed and construction of sitting arrangement for school children is being considered and shall be implemented

soon. Tender is also opened and likely to be awarded soon.

Beside above tree plantation is being regularly done to improve the environment at airport and AAI Project office. During the visit of HON. Chairman trees were planted and whenever any official from AAI visits Kishangarh plants are being planted. Recently mass plantation was organized where plants were planted by the media personnel. Almost all the media personnel from different newspapers attended the campaign also gave the wide coverage. We are not only planting the trees but also every care is taken so that plants grow. Plantation not only provide much needed oxygen and greenery leading to the areas look clean as well.

Students of the Silora school were given the privilege by making them visit to Jaipur Airport and children were taught to learn that how Airport is maintained and kept clean. Majority of the village students studying in govt schools and belongs to poor families. Students are really benefitted by the visit and promise that they will keep the school as neat as Airport.

Cycle rally started from CHQ, Delhi conveying the message clean India drive passed through Kishangarh was given warm welcome by AAI kishangarh team. Media personnel were also informed and coverd the aim of the rally in the newspapers also appreciating efforts of clean India drive.

AAI Kishangarh team is committed to make every effort to make “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” a grand success with the implementation of new and old innovative ideas . • Awareness about environment conservation• Waste management.• Green belts around the airport where feasible. • Promote social forestry and afforestation and greening of AAI colonies.• Projects for energy conservation, pollution reduction and environment protection such as use of solar energy etc

We are committed to provide more and more awareness among school children, local bodies, local authorities in addition to own airport premises, using print media as a tool to motivate people. Also after survey of nearby schools comprehensive proposals of CSR are prepared and likely may be approved in board meeting held on 26/05/2016. This is expected and requested that approval for the CSR proposal should be done on priority to associated with local surrounding for sustainable and effective implementation of “Swachh Bharat Mission.”
