kurgan.com: blueprints for the next big website on the internet
TRANSCRIPT
Conceptual plan for a logical, disruptive site www.kurgan.com
The information presented is for your eyes only.

The best way: Computer-aided division of responsibility and definition of responsibilities
– Maybe we cannot directly help the people– But we can enable them to help themselves
Which is the most profitable and world-changing business sector?
• The biggest profits are in “social media” type websites• Facebook for example, had $ 200 billion business in 2014.
In this new sector, even small innovations are highly profitable; for example: “Facebook buys WhatsApp for $19 billion”
• I propose the development of a website “kurgan.com” that can – in general utility and even in revenues – surpass Facebook etc.
• The concepts are ready; only the web development needs to be done. Given the right funding and support, total time taken for development of Kurgan.com may be around 6 months to 2 years
What is lacking in Facebook that Kurgan.com will have?
• The most complex and interesting object in the world, is the human. It naturally follows that a human-oriented website will be the most successful. Such was the rise of social media.
• Facebook (FB) got a few things right – it focuses on humans• But FB focuses only on the interests of humans. • Ultimately, it results in increased talking, not logical change in the human
condition • (to be sure, Facebook’s “Events” planning system is a bit better in that
regard – though that, again, is very limited and one can only make “Flash mobs”).
What we need is a website which focuses on humans – the parameters of humans (where they are, what are their remarkable skills, what is their availability in future space-time etc.) – and not on secondary details like their interests.
Feature 1: Humans are searchable on a time-tied map (based upon parameters)
Above is a screenshot from Google maps, the search item is “doctors”. In www.kurgan.com, a similar map will exist. You can search for people based on their skills, project interests, or simply cycle through people in your vicinity. One’s availability in future space-time will be calenderized.
//Aids in formal selection
The projects which they are interested in, rather than film or television interests etc.
About Facebook: To be About Facebook: To be sure, faces say a lot, but sure, faces say a lot, but humans have far more humans have far more important parameters important parameters
than their faces to show!than their faces to show!Meta-calendar: Future availability/itinerary in space time
Users define Projects as sets of components (coded X12, X13 etc.)
X13
•Input Materials•Output Materials•Guide (How-to)•Machines needed•Participants•Responsibilities
Entries are vertically cumulative e.g.:Input Mtls. (X13.1) = Input Mtls. (X13.1.1) + Input Mtls. (X13.1.2)
Similar guide sites exist, like instructables.com, but they scarcely give the other functionalities that kurgan.com will give
“Base level components”
Similar project-definer sites exist, like Trello, but they don’t give the other functionalities that kurgan.com does e.g.: searching for ppl
Target market:
1. The youth2. The retired3. Freelancers4. The unemployed (and eventually, the employed!)5. People of PIGS countries 6. People of other voluntary free areas
Feature 2: The most important feature of www.kurgan.com, is that users can execute projects of varying complexity
Feature 3: We can not just search for people, but even invite them into
projects: Computerized bureaucracy
Object-oriented project hierarchies eliminates the archaic concept of static hierarchy and takes care of standardization of best practices.
An IT System fulfilling Weber’s Principles
Specialist functionsControl by written rulesHierarchical authority structureFormal selection (Recruitment based on technical qualifications)
Defined the project? Next, simply send invites…
Availability of persons in future spacetime is detailed
c) And in the future, we can think of virtual credits backed by Escrow account and users’ “reputation” points.
Execution of example meta-agrarian project
