ションの歴史をつくってきた国立京都国際会館。2015年に耐震補強工事・

リニューアルを終え、世界最高水準の設備は、いっそう輝きを増しました。

ICC Kyoto occupies an expansive 156,000㎡ site containing the Main Building, Annex Hall, Event Hall and a Japanese garden, as well as parking spaces and a complex shared with the adjoining hotel that is devoted exclusively to conferences.ICC Kyoto boasts more than 70 conference rooms including 9 halls with simultaneous interpretation equipment. The Main Building, Annex Hall and Event Hall are connected by indoor passageways and linked by a digital network system comprising more than 600 fiber-optic cables. This network makes live video relay easy thereby enabling large-scale conferences of more than 7,000 people.Furthermore, over 70% of interior space consists of lobbies, lounges and other public space ensuring an ample level of comfort.

156,000㎡の広大な敷地には、本館、アネックスホール、イベントホー

ル、日本庭園のほか駐車スペース、隣接するホテルと融合した会議専

用のコンプレックスエリアを形成しています。

ICC Kyotoには同時通訳設備を備えた9会場をはじめ、70余の会議室

があり、本館とアネックスホール、イベントホールは屋内通路で結ばれて

います。さらに、600本以上の光ファイバーによるデジタルネットワーク

システムが館内及びホテルとの間で構築されているため、LIVE中継や

データ配信が容易にでき、7000名を超える大型会議も円滑にご開催

いただけます。また、館内はロビー、ラウンジなどのパブリックスペースが

70%以上を占める贅沢なつくりとなっています。

高さ15m、4階まで吹き抜けた天井と広がりある台形は会議場に開放感を

与え、また直線を活かしたデザインは、国際会議の舞台にふさわしい荘厳な

空間を演出します。約2000名収容可能。さらに各会場へのLIVE中継が容

易にでき、7000名以上の大型会議もご開催いただけます。政府間・国際機

関会議、学術会議や講演会はもちろん、企業の周年記念式典、インセンティ

ブ、表彰式など心に残る舞台をお約束いたします。

Renovation for 2015

The Main Hall is characterized by a great sense of openness created by the trapezoidal architecture of the 15m ceiling that extends to the fourth floor. In addition, the hall’s design utilizes straight lines to produce a majestic space appropriate for staging international conferences. Total capacity is approximately 2,000 people. More than 7,000 people can be accomodated by using live video relay to link other halls. Apart from inter-governmental and international conferences, academic conferences, and symposia, the hall offers a memorable setting for corporate events, such as annual celebrations, incentive events, and award presentations.

This spacious conference room can be adapted to a variety of seating layouts, ranging from a horse-shoe style for 370 people, to a theater style for 550 people. A total of 222 gallery seats with their own entrances are located on the upper floors. These are suitable for members of press and general observers. A dedicated waiting room behind the stage can be provided for the convenience of VIP guests or used as a reception room.

Our highly competent and internationally minded in-house staff provides comprehensive support for events, from promotion of candidacy, to planning and proposals, to attracting participants and management of the conference itself. To handle any and all conference needs, ICC Kyoto features an experienced team of technical specialists, a dedicated catering section, and a conference support staff of 200 available to meet English and other language needs.The result being a very cost-efficient, stress-free convention for organizers and meeting planners.

Gigabit Ethernetで構成された6系統の独立したLANがあり、高度なネットワーク会議や大容量のデータ配信も可能です。１階、２階ロビーでは、Wi-Fi接続サービスによる無料のインターネットアクセスをご利用いただけます。

ICC Kyoto’s network system consists of six independent LANs linked by Gigabit Ethernet. This readily facilitates advanced networked conferences and distribution of high-capacity data. The Internet can also be accessed via free Wi-Fi available in the first- and second-floor lobbies.

■Digital Signage and Solar PanelsICC Kyoto has installed digital signage in the passageway connecting to the subway, which is capable of handling all manner of video content. An energy-efficient LED-backlight model is employed, and power is obtained from solar panels.
