profitable venture.

ROLES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN ECONOMIC GROWTH

1. Entrepreneurship creates employment 2. Entrepreneurship contributes to a more equitable distribution of income 3. Entrepreneurship utilizes and mobilizes resources for greater productivity 4. Entrepreneurship creates social benefits

Entrepreneur generally refers to an individual who can identify products or sources which people need and delivers these at the right time, place and price. Kinds of Business 1. Manufacturing business- a business that produce manufacture products that sell on the

market. Also known as Distributor or Supplier of products. Example Coca Cola Corp. San Miguel Corp. and etc.

2. Merchandising business=a business that buy good/products and sell on the market with profit. Example sari-sari store or general store, Supermarket

3. Service business- a business that rendering services or works on the customer/consumer exchange of money. Example, fast food chain.

Basic Forms of Ownership in Business

1. Sole Proprietorship- a business owned by one person for profit. The owner may operate the business alone.

2. Partnership-a business owned by two person. In most forms of partnership, each partner has unlimited liability for the debts incurred by the business.

3. Corporation- a limited liability business that has a secret legal personality from its member. It can be either government owned/privately owned and organize either for profit or not for profit. A privately owned for profit corporation is owned by shareholders who elect a board of directors, the o corporation and hire its managerial staff.

Topic: The Orchestra

The Orchestra is a group of instrumentalists together led by a conductor. The instruments of the

orchestra are divided into four sections: strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion which produce

interweaving sound. The musical instruments of the orchestra are grouped according the timbre, the

materials used, and how they are being played.

The String Section:

This is the most important section of the orchestra because the instruments in this section are the most

versatile and flexible. This is also the largest family of instruments in the orchestra.

The Woodwind Section

Woodwind instruments are a family of musical instruments within the more general category of wind

instruments.

The Brass Instruments

This are the musical instruments which produces sound by sympathetic vibration of air in a tubular

resonator in sympathy with the vibration of the players lips.

Percussion Section

This musical instruments is sounded by being struck or scraped by a beater.
