The legend of Rome
Once upon a time, many but many years ago in the Kingdom of Alba Longa, a
princess named Rhea Silvia, the daughter of King Amulius. Rhea Silvia had twins, but
bad uncle, Amulius the imprisoned together with his father to steal the throne.
Amulius said that children had to be killed, but the servant left them in a basket on
the Tiber River. A she-Wolf saw them and decided to feed.
Romolo e Remo.
A day spent there a shepherd named Faustulus and seeing the two children decided
to adopt them and brought them to his house by his wife Laurentian. They called the
two children Romulus and Remus.
nonno.
When they were big, Faustulus told them not to be the true father and told the truth.
Then Romulus and Remus killed the villain Amulius and freed his mother and
grandfather.
They then marched to found a city on the hill where the she-Wolf suckled them.
Asked the Council to guess to know who gave the city its name and who would
become King. And I guess you should watch carefully replied that the heaven and
who would have seen more birds would become King.
Romulus won and decided to call his city Rome. Then he picked up a stick, designed a
large square on the ground and said, "Here in my city limits. None shall overcome
them without my permission.
giovani e così vissero felici e contenti.
Remo, very angry, not heard him and trod the line drawn by his brother. Romulus
then took out his sword and killed Remus. Romulus became the first King of Rome
and the city became the most beautiful and large around the world.
But in the city there were few females and then the Romans decided to organize a
party and invited a neighboring people, the Sabines. During the party kidnapped all
young and so they lived happily ever after.
