The Grouping of Municipalities in Provinces

• Un municipio es el territorio formado por una o varias localidades y gobernado por un Ayuntamiento.

• Una provincia es el territorio formado por varios municipios. El nombre de la provincia es también el de su capital, que es la localidad más importante de la provincia.

• En la capital se encuentra la Diputación Provincial.

• A province is a territory formed by a various municipalities. The name of a province is also the name of the capital of the locality which is the most important in the providence.

• In the capital resides the county council.

• A municipality is a territory formed by one or more localities.

The Provinces of Andalucía.

• Andalcuia is one of the most extensive Autonomous Communities in Spain. It is in the south of the Iberia Peninsula. The territory of Andalucia is formed by eight provinces: Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén Málaga and Sevilla.

• Also each has a personal organization with the power to decide about some aspects of the Autonomy with respect to the rest of Spain.

Crafts made by hand or by simple machines produce different products. Textile and leather, pottery or ceramic and basketry are some of the most important types of crafts in Andalucia.
