DAL PACIFICO: L’ ANTICA ARTE TERAPEUTICA DEGLI SCIAMANI DELLE HAWAII

Il trattamento del Lomi Lomi includeva sempre una purificazione del corpo sia interna che esterna, con l’uso di rimedi botanici.

In riferimento a questo, nella tradizione hawaiana esiste sia una medicina botanica molto ricca chiamata Haulapao, sia l’impiego di procedure psico-spirituali per il riequilibrio emozionale, chiamate Hoponopono.Mentre per il lavoro sui tessuti molli vi è il massaggio.

Presentiamo tre tecniche di massaggio, non interpretazioni new-age, ma versioni originali riconosciute dai nativi dell’arcipelago. Impieghiamo per queste l’uso di un pregiato olio vegetale con essenze fresche: il “Lomi Lomi oil”.

FROM THE PACIFIC: THE ANCIENT THERAPEUTIC ART OF THE HAWAIAN SHAMAN

Lomi Lomi treatment has always incuded purification of the body both internally and externally and the use of plant-based remedies.

In fact in Hawaian tradition there is both a rich botanic medicine called Haulapao and the use of psycho-spiritual procedures for emotional rebalance, called Hoponopono.While massage is used to work on soft tissues.

We present three different massage techniques, not new age interpretations but original versions recognised by natives of the archipelago. We use a very fine vegetable oil with fresh essences, “Lomi Lomi oil”.
