t. | ' Short title and commencenzcnt. - (l) 'l-hese ruies may be called the punjabTrar$parcncy& Accountability in Deiivery of public Services Rules. 2019,

(2) These rules shail c'llnre intc iorce wiih cii'ect &orn the date of rheg publication in the. Ofncial Gazette.I

2- (llDefiniliorzs. -In these rules, udess the context otherwise requires:-(i) "Act" meetns the Punjab 'l'rainsparency & Accountabiiityin Delrvery of public

Servic€s Act, 2018,(ii) "Form" means &e Form appended to these rules; and(iii) "Section" means section of tire Act.v

(2) Words and expressions used but not defined irr tbese rules shall have the meaninssrespectively assigned to them in the r\ct.

3. Display of information af notit'ied public services and connected details on noticeboard or at websile.{l) Every public authority shali notifu and dispiay or cause to dispiay rhelist of each notified public service to he rendered by it, the name of Designated Officer and theAppellate Authority the stipuiated time limit for providing the servrce,G appiication form,thegovernment fee andlor the facilitatiorr charges, if any, in tbe format given in Form-l, for everyservice onthe notice-board of its offrce and also on the website/ poftal of the pubiic authority ifany.

(2)1he pubiic authority shall, after the pubiication of the list under sub-rule (l) above,review the same.,.and notif the services whieh shall be made availabie through eiectronic mode, ,

and thmugh othii modesin the first week of every quarter starting Januaryof every year.

(3iThe pubiic authority while reviewing the list urrcler sub-rule (t) and (2) above, bynotC;ation, omit,amend or adci arrypurblic service in the same manner.

(4) Such dispiay shall be in Punjabi/ Engiish language ,

(5) In the event of non-dispiay of such informatitxr, the Chief Commissioner or theconcerned Administrative Secretaryrnay take suo-moto cognizanceand initiate appropriare acdonagainst the conoerned pubiic authority or designared officer, as the case may be.
