中西區百多年來一直是香港的政經中心，本身就

是活的歷史，而且比世界多個城市的市中心更接

近郊野，無疑得天獨厚；但老街坊的家被強拍公

司強行收樓，天星皇后的清拆，政府山被出賣，

歷史被發展無情抹消；就算郊野，也被地區人士

過度開發，興建了不必要的欄河，用水泥覆蓋了

無須覆蓋的山徑，郊區快要變成市區了。

堅決反對一切將港人歷史出賣與地產商的議案。

保育並不單是保護建築本身，而是建築與其它建

築，以及建築與人的聯繫。更重要的是，重建或

活化工作，絕不可將社區的地價無理抬高，將原

本的人逐出社區，進而將社區撕裂。

• 反對半山任何土地改為住宅用途，或增加任何

建築高度或密度，以令強行重建無利可圖

• 保育區內有歷史價值的建築，如大學本部大

樓，西區裁判署，且不應切除其歷史脈絡

• 停止政績工程，還我天然郊野

• 解散市建局，推翻強拍條例；定期召開社區大

會，各持份者共同民主規劃社區

C&W district is the political and economic centre of Hong Kong, and is itself living history; It is also gifted as it is so close to nature. However, the compulsory sale for redevelopment law has enabled specialized companies to forcibly sweep properties, history has been destroyed when the Star Ferry pier and Queen’s pier were demolished and the government hill is decided to be sold to developers. Even the countryside has been over-developed by needlessly installing railings and covering up paths by concrete.

Firmly oppose any motion selling out the history of Hong Kong to developers. Conservation is not only limited to the building itself, but also conserving the relationship between buildings, and buildings and people. All redevelopment or revitalization must not unduly increase land value so the current residents have to leave and break up society.

• Against all change of land use to residential or increase in building height or density, so compulsory selling for redevelopment will not be profitable

• Conserve the historically significant buildings like the Main Building of HKU and Western Magistrates, without breaking its historical ties

• Stop pork barrel projects for a more natural countryside• Disso lve the Urban Renewal Author i ty, abo l ish the

compulsory sale for redevelopment law; hold regular community meetings and plan the community with all stakeholders

社區環境Environment

• 停止鄰近郊區的不必要開發，真正保護天然環境；

• 附近的社區設施，應與大學共建共享，減少資源浪費，

亦可達到大學與社區的融合。

• Stop unnecessary development of the nearby countryside; • Share facilities with the university to reduce wastage of

resources, as well as improve integration of the University and the Community.

之前已有人為了取景，不惜火燒摩星嶺炮台

之事；再加開發，只會帶來更大破壞。出自

保育團體創會會員之口，更是貽笑大方。

A few months ago there was a photographer setting fire on the Mount Davis Battery. Further development will lead to further destruction of the area. It is so ironic as this comes from a founding member of a local conservation group.

「推進環保計劃—……監察政府做好古物古蹟

保育工作，加強樹木保護及綠化美化四周環

境……」

Another Candidate:"Environmental protection… Urging the government to do better in heritage conservation and greening and beautifying the environment…"

將古物古蹟保育工作視作環保計劃，而無視其

人文價值。難怪會在區議會內因政府合署西座

「文物價值較低」，且重建「採用綠化設計」，

而支持出賣政府山的議案。

Treating heritage conservation as environmental is a grave mistake. This lead to voting for demolishing government hill for its “low heritage value” and its replacement having “a greener design”.
