March 26, 2015 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter in regards to Kalina Rock’s application for scholarship for her education. I have personally known Kalina since she was in seventh grade, nearly ten years! Even as a youth, Kalina has always displayed a high level of leadership with an incredibly sweet spirit. In the summer of 2014, I had the pleasure of working alongside of Kalina during her four week internship in the Dominican Republic where she served tirelessly around the clock. Her responsibilities included assisting our fulltime staff in the facilitation of our NorthAmerican mission teams serving with GO Ministries one week at a time. She interacted and encouraged approximately 80 team members towards a deeper relationship with God while working alongside of them in their chosen areas of ministry. Kalina displayed incredible flexibility in being able to move from one task to the next in a moment’s notice. She participated in building churches, leading children’s ministry, serving lunch to children in our feeding centers, preparing the dorms for teams, helping with the food and donations that teams leave behind. Overall, Kalina was an incredible addition to our Internship Program and we would welcome her to return and serve with us if there is an opportunity for her to do so in the future. She is a wonderful servant leader and is incredibly trustworthy, humble, and many are drawn to her sweet nature. She would be an excellent candidate for your scholarship program!
