Director, University Research Centre (formerly Centre for Research in Distance and Adult Learning)

Director, since 2012; Acting Director 2010 – 2012 Serving as the Secretary for the President’s Advisory Committee on Research and Development, the Research Ethics Committee and the Research Safety Committee; overseeing the provision of administrative support for research and processing research proposals for internal and external funding, as well as reports to funding bodies; promoting research and organizing research-related professional development activities for University staff; leading research on modes of university education; organizing international academic conferences/symposia in areas relevant to the mission of the University; producing relevant publications; and collaborating with other institutions or visiting scholars from overseas institutions on research projects.
