Complex sentences

What is a complex sentence?Acomplex sentencecontains an independent clause and at least one dependent clause. Anindependent clausecan stand alone as a sentence and makes a complete thought and adependent clausecannot stand alone, even though it has a subject and a verb.

A complex sentence is a sentence that has a main clause and a subordinate clause. Example:We wanna live while we're young

The above sentence is a complex sentence because it has a main clause, We wanna live, and a subordinate clause, while we're young
