辨析 : advice 和 suggestion

advice 与 suggestion 是名词,都表示 “建议、意见”的意思。两者的最大区别在于 advice 是不可数名词,表示 “一条建议”用 a piece of advice, “ 一些建议”是 some advice ;而 suggestion 则是可数名词,表示 “一条建议”用 a sugg

estion , “一些建议”是 some suggestio

ns, “ 许多建议”是 many suggestions 。

辨析 : alone 和 lonely

alone 既可用作形容词,又可用作副词,意为“独自的(地)、单独的(地)”,侧重于说明独自一人,没有同伴或助手,指的是客观情况。
