1. Electronically at www.sst.dk and 2. by ordinary mail – sign the completed form
and send it together with the required documents to:

Registration fee
A registration fee to the amount of DKK 1.187must be paid for a permission to practicemedicine independently and DKK 4.099 for eachspecialist title.

Recognition of foreign qualifications
The following documents must be submitted
Documentation of name, date of birth and nationality (e.g. in the form of certified true copies of the relevant passport pages)
Documentation of change of name (if any)
Translation of documentation of change of name
EU diploma, certificate or other evidence of formal qualifications as listed in Directive 2005/36/EC
Translation of EU diploma, certificate or other evidence of formal qualifications
Certificate of Current Professional Status Standing (certificate of good standing) from the competent health authorities in the most recent country of work and residence. The certificate must in English confirm that you are legally entitled to work within you profession, i.e. that you have not been suspended, disqualified or prohibited from practicing. If you are a specialist, the certificate must also confirm that your are legally entitled to work as a specialist. The certificate must be less than 3 months old and sent directly from the respective competent authority to the National Board of Health in Denmark
