Where to find the System Data

application?

You can see your recently used systems here.

A system search can be done here.

Select an installation and

click on Search.

Please note, that accurate maintained System Data are important to receive a higher quality

of results in the SAP Notes Search and to enable SAP solving your problems more effective.

By using the SAP EarlyWatch Alertyour System Data will be maintained automatically (only

for SAP systems)

Access a system by its ID

or an installation by its number. We choose this

option.

Installation Details

Platforms: This overview lists all platforms (that is,combinations of software product, operating system,

and database system) used in the customer

installation. It also records validity dates and the date

of the first delivery.

Contacts: Here you see a list of contact persons for the

installation, for example the system administrator andthe software receiver.

Common Data: Here you find customer data, forexample the customer's contact person, delivery data,

and maintenance data.

The Systems Overview is the initial screen you can see.

To display detailed information about a system in yourinstallation, choose that system from the list.

Click on Edit to maintain the header details.

You can request a new system here.

You can change in the edit mode the installation name

and the country of the installation here.

System: Displays data about the current SAP productversion, the upgrade SAP product version, the usage

type, the technical kernel, the kernel patch level andthe SAP router.

Display and Maintain System Details

(for SAP customers)

Software Components: Displays the list of the SAPsoftware component installed on your system. The list

also shows the release of SAP software componentsas well as the highest Support Package for the

particular SAP software component.

DB Server: Shows the data of the database server ofthe system. This data is divided up into the hardware-

specific data, database data and release, and data forany additional SAP router.

Application Server: Displays the data on the availableapplication servers in the system. Data maintenance

for the application server is almost identical todatabase server maintenance.

Other Servers: Shows additional servers in yoursystem. These servers may be SAP servers or non-SAP

servers. Choose Create Server to create an additionalserver.

License Keys: Shows license key information. Youcannot modify this data; however, you can request a

license key via the link.

Use the Edit System button to maintain the system.Using Reassign System, you can reassign a system toanother installation.

Using Consistency Check you can determine:

Which software component versions are notmaintained,

Whether there are several message servers within

your system,

Whether the given version is valid for the database.

Maintain Access Data takes you to the secure areawhere you save your access data in encrypted form.

Maintain your service connection here.

To return to the installation details, click on the

installation number here.You get new options here.

Save all your system changes once at the end of the

data maintenance.
