UM BYGGINGUNA Hönnun hússins byggist á ólíkum álmum sem tengjast saman í miðrými sem kallað er Sól. Nöfn álmanna eru sótt í sólkerfið og reikistjörnur þess. Næst Sól er Merkúríus, þá Venus og svo koll af kolli. Í byrjun árs 2010 voru álmurnar Venus og Mars teknar í notkun ásamt göngugötunni Jörð. Sólin og Úranus voru svo teknar í notkun um miðjan ágúst sama ár. Þvert á álmur byggingarinnar liggja gangarnir A, B og C.

ABOUT THE BUILDINGThe design of the building is based on different sections which connect together in a central area called Sól (Sun). The sections are named after the solar system and its planets. Merkúríus (Mercury) is nearest to Sól, then Venus, and so on. The first sections, Venus and Mars and the walkway Jörð (Earth) separating them, were taken into use in January 2010 and later the same year Sól and Úranus were also taken into use. Connecting the different sections are corridors, A, B, and C.
