DURANTE ESERCIZIO FISICO AEROBICO, PER MANTENERE L’EQUILIBRIO TRA DOMANDA E OFFERTA DI O2 SI VERIFICA:•AUMENTO DEL FLUSSO SANGUIGNO A LIVELLO DEI MUSCOLI FINO A 20-25 VOLTE SUPERIORE RISPETTO ALLA CONDIZIONE DI RIPOSO (da 3 a 75 ml/100 gr di muscolo per minuto), GRAZIE A:- AGGIUSTAMENTI CENTRALI (cuore e circolazione polmonare)- AGGIUSTAMENTI PERIFERICI (circolazione sistemica)•AUMENTO DELL’ESTRAZIONE DELL’O2 DAL SANGUE (DIFFE-RENZA ARTERO-VENOSA DI O2 (Da-vO2))
- SOGGETTO NON ALLENATO: da circa 5 a 13 ml di O2/100 ml
- SOGGETTO ALLENATO: da circa 5 a 17 ml di O2/100 ml

CONSEGUENZA
MAGGIOR CONSUMO DI O2 DA PARTE DEL MIOCARDIO, MA L’AUMENTO DI GITTATA SISTOLICA E PORTATA CARDIACA E’ ADEGUATO E PROPORZIONALE ALLE RICHIESTE ENERGETICHE DELLO STESSO.LA POMPA CARDIACA EFFETTUA UN LAVORO DI VOLUME SPINGENDO GROSSE QUANTITA’ DI SANGUE CONTRO UN SISTEMA CIRCOLATORIO CON RESISTENZE PERIFERICHE DIMINUITE.

Respiratory Exchange Ratio
How much CO2 is exchanged for O2
RER = VCO2 / VO2
RER= 400 / 500 = 0.8
RQ sometimes used, but RQ true measure of exchange in tissues, not at mouth.
![Page 25: LO SPORT COME MEZZO DI PREVENZIONE](https://reader035.vdocuments.pub/reader035/viewer/2022062400/56814a71550346895db78a80/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)
Substrate Utilisation
• Carbohydrate RER = 1.0
• Fat RER = 0.7
RER between 0.7 and 1.0 tells us what proportion of Fat and CHD we are utilising. Useful in calorimetric studies

CONCLUSIONI 1
L’introduzione del fattore di correzione porta ad una buona corrispondenza fra valori medi teorici e quelli effettivamente riscontrati. In questo modo è assai più agevole sia consigliare l’atleta sul tipo di allenamento da effettuare nel prosieguo della preparazione che rivalutarlo successivamente, a stadi di allenamento più avanzati.
![Page 46: LO SPORT COME MEZZO DI PREVENZIONE](https://reader035.vdocuments.pub/reader035/viewer/2022062400/56814a71550346895db78a80/html5/thumbnails/46.jpg)
CONCLUSIONI 2
Dai nostri dati emerge che non è allenabile il massimo consumo di ossigeno oltre un certo limite (infatti dipende dalle caratteristiche individuali), ma il target su cui lavorare per l’atleta di endurance è l’efficienza, cioè la capacità di estrazione di ossigeno a livello muscolare e quindi la sua utilizzazione nella produzione di energia.
