/e/ 发音方法 : 发 /e/ 时 , 舌端抵下齿 , 前舌抬起 , 但抬得不如发 /i:/ 时高 ,

前元音 (Front Vowels) (Ⅱ)
其中字母组合 ea, ie, ue 及字母 e, a 都发 /e/ 的音。但是它们各自都有其它的发音。学习者应注意不要把 /e/ 发成 /ai/ 。 /e/ 大都出现在重读音节中。

英语中只有字母 a 发 /æ/ 的音 , 但是 a 还有其它的发音。 /æ/ 大都出现在重读音节。学习者注意不要把 /æ/ 发成 /ai/ 。
/æ/ 发音方法 : 发 /æ/ 时 , 舌尖抵下齿 , 前舌稍高 , 但比发 /i/ 和 /e/ 时要低。双唇向两边伸张 , 稍扁。牙床几乎全开。短音 , 但在有些情况下较长。喉头肌肉紧张。

PartⅠ 开音节有两种 : 一种是在一个音节中元音字母之后没有辅音字母 , 叫绝对开音节 , 如 :I, go, no, me, paper 。另一种是在元音字母之后有一个辅音字母 (r 除外 ), 而后面又紧接着一个不发音的元音字母 e, 叫相对开音节 , 如 :home, name,
face 在开音节中 , 元音字母读它的字母音。Read the following words, paying attention to the open syllables.
