(a) whether the Reserve Bank of India(RBI) has penalised the State Bank of India(SBI) Rs. 40 lakhs for not complying withits directions on detection and impoundingof counterfeit notes, if so, the detailsthereof;

(b) whether such action on a CentralBank is the result of finding deficiencies onSBI’s part in regulatory compliance withcounterfeit note norms, if so, the detailsthereof;

(c) whether some other PSBs, besidesSBI, have also been found deficient in thematter; and

(d) if so, the details thereof,bank-wise?
