01. INT. GARE DE MARSEILLE SAINT CHARLES

NIMROD sits on bench. WILLIAM coming in behind him with luggage.

WILLIAM sits next to NIMROD without NIMROD noticing him. NIMROD turns and notices.

NIMROD

Oh. Here you are.

WILLIAM

Hey whats that?

WILLIAM points to his side of bench. NIMROD looks and cant see anything. WILLLIAM has his hand around NIMRODs shoulder. He taps NIMRODs shoulder so NIMROD looks that way. Nothing there too. When NIMROD turns back to WILLIAM, WILLIAM slaps him.

WILLIAM

I got you some chocolate.

NIMROD opens package and eats.

02. INT. FLAT. (Airbnb - 2 Rue Lafon)

NIMROD looks at a picture frame and puts it face down on table. Leaves the room.

WILLIAM picks up frame, its NIMROD as a little child.

WILLIAM

(Shouting to NIMROD in other room) I thought its your ex-girlfriend but its just you... (Mumbles) As a child.

03. EXT. DAY. MONUMENT AUX MORTS DE L'ARME D'ORIENT ET AUX HROS DES TERRES LOINTAINES, MARSEILLE

NIMROD and WILLIAM play ping pong without a table.

WILLIAM

For how long have you been single?

NIMROD

I fall for ladies all the time, indiscriminately.

WILLIAM

Your inner child needs to grow an outer man.

NIMROD

People say Im likeable, but nobody likes me.

WILLIAM

I want someone bodacious, like her. (Points at statue)

NIMROD and WILLIAM turn to face the Corniche War Memorial statue. Its a lady holding her hands up. They gaze at her face.

NIMROD

What will you do if you ever meet someone with a smile like hers?

WILLIAM

Ill follow her.

NIMROD

Ill give her my Uber password.

WILLIAM

Shes not smiling actually. Shes tranquil. The perfect armpit.

04. EXT. DAY. LA SAMARITAINE CAF.

LOLLY sits outside reading the Financial Times. She ties her shoe. Puts her leg on chair. Camera behind her follows people crossing her frame, back and forth. NIMROD and WILLIAM cross, then others.

NIMROD and WILLIAM stop and look back at LOLLY. WILLIAM drumming on a street pole.

NIMROD

She looks hot.

WILLIAM

You go for it.

NIMROD

Whichever of us talks to her first shell end up with the other.

WILLIAM

(Hand gesture) Go on.

LOLLY gets up and starts walking towards corner. NIMROD crosses street and reaches the corner exactly when she does.

NIMROD

Hey. My name is Nimrod. My mum is a flight attendant.

WILLIAM looks at them.

NIMROD

You might recognise me from Wikipedia. My friend William really like you. (Waves WILLIAM to join)

WILLIAM approaches.

LOLLY

Are you a drummer?

WILLIAM

Yes. Nimrod is my cymbal.

LOLLY

I just got out of a short relationship.

NIMROD

Are you opening up to us?

LOLLY

Im not emotionally available.

WILLIAM

Which one of us looks more like your ex-boyfriend?

LOLLY

(To NIMROD) You could be my future ex.

LOLLY whispers something to WILLIAMs ear.

05. EXT. DAY. WATERFRONT

LOLLY, WILLIAM, NIMROD walk around playfully. They use same deodorant on all armpits, a speed-stick. Voiceover explains they do it to show camaraderie.

NIMROD sneaks away leaving LOLLY alone with WILLIAM. They look for him. Voiceover says WILLIAM recreated with LOLLY the same day he had with NIMROD to see if shes as cool as NIMROD.

06. INT. DAY. FLAT

WILLIAM shows LOLLY in.

LOLLY

Why does your flat smell like an Airbnb?

WILLIAM

Oh, (embarrassed) I just wanted it to smell like cookies and air freshener.

WILLIAM gives LOLLY a Cornetto and keeps one for himself.

LOLLY

Ive been with many men. Im guessing youve been lonely for a long time. (Pause) So we average.

WILLIAM

I am actually deflowered. Unlike Nimrod.

LOLLY

Im deflowered too but Im not devalued.

They move to the balcony. LOLLY takes WILLIAMs Cornetto and squeezes both Cornettos on his chest. They kiss. WILLIAM puts his knee between her legs.

LOLLY

Stop kneeing me so hard.

07. INT. NIGHT. BEDROOM

WILLIAM lets NIMROD in his bedroom to sleep next to LOLLY instead of him.

08. INT. MORNING. FLAT

In their pyjamas, NIMROD spoons LOLLY. LOLLY changes position to spoon NIMROD.

NIMROD

Stop changing positions.

LOLLY

Why did you give me a love-bite down there? (Points to belly button)

NIMROD

William told me to.

LOLLY

Are you flaccid or just asexual? (Pulls drum stick from beneath sheet) Why did William leave his stick? It hurts.

NIMROD tries to resume position.

NIMROD

Please spoon me again.

LOLLY

Im bigger than you so you spoon me. Its called jet-packing.

NIMROD and LOLLY jet-pack. LOLLY moves on top of NIMROD.

LOLLY

(Grabs NIMRODs face) Intercourse with you feels like shoving a luffa into a Mason jar.

NIMROD

Oh.

LOLLY

Either man up or lady down.

LOLLY exits. After two seconds WILLIAM peeks into bedroom door.

WILLIAM

Where did she go?

NIMROD gets up. Hes listening to LOLLY and WILLIAM shout.

WILLIAM

Whats the matter?

LOLLY

I didnt want to be alone with NIMROD.

WILLIAM

Why?

LOLLY

I wanted both of you. I survived Nimrods panic attack and all I got is this generalized anxiety.

Door shut. NIMROD rushes into living room, looking for LOLLY. They see her running in the street from balcony. She wears a big hat.

09. EXT. DAY. GARE DE MARSEILLE SAINT CHARLES

NIMROD and WILLIAM chase LOLLY to inside the station.

10. INT. DAY. GARE DE MARSEILLE SAINT CHARLES

LOLLY goes into a train, her hat tossed out. She then exits via a different door, behind NIMROD and WILLIAM. NIMROD and WILLIAM are sure she is in the train and cant spot her through the windows.

LOLLY escapes back into town. NIMROD and WILLIAM look at the train goes off, holding LOLLYs hat.

NIMROD

Lets go for a shave.

WILLIAM

Shes gone.

NIMROD

Nightmare.

WILLIAM

(Looks at his legs) I feel fat. My thighs have never not touched.

11. INT. DAY. BarbClub (50 rue Sainte)

NIMROD and WILLIAM get a haircut.

WILLIAM

Give me your Tinder password.

NIMROD

I cant. Its linked to my Facebook.

WILLIAM

So please log in for the sake of both of us. Im desperate.

NIMROD

Tinder is the night.

WILLIAM

NIMROD and WILLIAM see LOLLY walk past barber window and run after her.

12. EXT. DAY. STREET

WILLIAM and NIMROD catch her.

NIMROD

(To LOLLY) You stayed. William has a new girlfriend.

WILLIAM

We want you, though.

LOLLY leans in to kiss WILLIAM and kisses NIMROD at the last moment.

LOLLY

Sing to me.

WILLIAM

(Looks at LOLLY) Baby youre all that I want,

NIMROD

When youre lying here in my arms,

13. INT. DAY. LIVING ROOM

LOLLY in NIMRODs arms.

WILLIAM

Im finding it hard to believe,

NIMROD

Youre eleven.

Voice from street calling WILLIAM.

WILLIAM

Its Camille. I have to go.

NIMROD and LOLLY in balcony watching WILLIAM and CAMILLE walk away.

LOLLY

(Shouting) Im pregnant.

Everyone looks back at LOLLY in awe. She pulls out a gun from her bag and shoots once, at the sky.

LOLLY

My Muslim friends always shoot in the air when they get married.

NIMROD

Are you going through a midlife-ISIS?

14. EXT. NIGHT. STREET

WILLIAM and CAMILLE on a bench.

CAMILLE

Why is Lolly such a bitch?

WILLIAM

Shes just torn between us.

CAMILLE

What are you doing with me then?

WILLIAM

Im trying to give space to Nimrod.

15. EXT. NIGHT. CAF

NIMROD giving LOLLY money.

NIMROD

I kept money aside for abortion so you dont need to go to Ireland.

LOLLY

Im keeping my baby.

NIMROD

Oh.

LOLLY

It might not be yours anyway. William should have a say.

WILLIAM shows up and joins them.

WILLIAM

I feel exhaustipated. Im tired of all the games. Would this go on forever?

LOLLY

William, Im sending you a PayPal request for diapers.

WILLIAM

Public healthcare should cover child support. But if its mine you should take Nimrods money.

NIMROD

Lets dance.

LOLLY, on the table with her fingers shows WILLIAM and NIMROD how to dance. LOLLY, NIMROD, WILLIAM do synchronised dance. They look a bit tired.

16. INT. SUPERMARKET

NIMROD, LOLLY, WILLIAM fill up a shopping cart with goods and pills. They leave it, untouched, between isles.

4 YEARS LATER

17. EXT. DAY. Estrangin Prfecture square

NIMROD and LOLLY are older, NIMROD has no glasses and a beard. They sit on fountain. NIMROD reads the Financial Times.

NIMROD pulls the same trick WILLIAM pulled on him when they first met at train station, but kisses LOLLY instead of slapping her.

LOLLY is surprised and pulls out of kiss in horror.

LOLLY

We look awful. Wheres my daughter? I need to know which one of you is actually her father.

NIMROD

Get over it.

LOLLY

Feels like Im on life support and everyone's pulling the plug to charge their phones.

NIMROD

Lolly

LOLLY

As long as you and William are alive Sabine wont be happy. (Pause) Come with me.

LOLLY takes NIMROD by the hand and runs into metro station, leaving bag and paper behind. NIMROD looks back.

18. INT. METRO PLATFORM. Estrangin Prfecture station

LOLLY waits for a train to come and pushes NIMROD inside. He complies, steps in, turns around, looks at her.

NIMROD

Are you not coming?

Just before the doors close LOLLY pulls a gun out of her bag and shoots NIMROD.

NIMROD holds the carriage pole and drops like a stripper.

The train starts moving with NIMRODs body in it. LOLLY uses same gun to shoot herself. She drops.

19. EXT. DAY. TOWER HAMLETS CEMETERY

WILLIAM and child, her name is Emilyne, walk between graves. Voiceover.

WILLIAM lifts Sabine on gravestone. They play hide and seek in cemetery.
