History of the brand: Dedicated to Lucius Licinius Lucullus, the great gourmet of Classic Rome (1st century BC), We tried to elaborate a wine with a personality outstanding by the origin of the Grenache grape and through a singular elaboration.
Vineyard: 94 years-old Garnacha vines that grow in the Low Mountain of Navarra - where the oldest vines of this variety are grown.
Fermentation & Ageing: Elaborated with selected Garnacha grapes coming from centenary vines that were harvested by hand. After destemming, the grapes remain in French oak barrels where alcoholic fermentation takes place with the help of daily manual deltages that become less intense towards the end of the fermentation.
After alcoholic fermentation is completed, the skin-and-wine mixture is devatted and pressed. The drained wine obtained goes back to French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation will take place. Once completed, wine is racked and brought back to clean barrels.
The wine finally ages in three specially selected French oak barrels coming from the cooperage Radoux that were previously used in the elaboration of three French wines.
Lúculo Origen remains oaking until the original fruit is merged with the tabacco tones added by the barrel.
Winemaker's notes: Intense bright ruby color. Lúculo Origen is characterized by its intense nose of fresh red fruits, cherry liqueur and nuances of blue flowers. On the palate delivers an enjoyable sweet, fresh and lively flavor that drives to a fruity and floral long-lasting finish.
Service suggestions: A great match with lamb. Game, grilled meats and pasta dishes with tomato based sauces. Best served at 16-18ºC.

Servir a 16-18ºC.
