To make the change, we need to stop some services starting March 1.

You can still:

• Check out books, but bring your library card or number. We won’t be able to look it up.

• Search the catalog using CML’s Mobile App and columbuslibrary.org (availability might not be accurate).

• Use public computers and book meeting rooms with your library card.

• Access eBooks, streaming movies, documentaries, music and other online research tools.

• Apply for a library card in person.

But from 9 p.m. on March 1 through 9 a.m. on March 8:

• We’ll check out your items (no self-checkout will be available).

• No items will be due.

• You won’t be able to place items on hold.

• You won’t be able to access My Account online or check your account status by phone.

Plus starting March 14: Get access to millions of items from Ohio’s public libraries with SearchOhio. Find it, request it and have it sent to any Columbus Metropolitan Library location. Ask staff for more information.
