2012–2013 Marin Symphony Subscription SeasonThe stage is set for a brilliant season of Fresh Local Music."We’re celebrating our 60th year of music-making in style from our opening tribute to all things Italian—to our season closer which tips a nod to the French Impressionist masters Debussy and Ravel. In between those Mediterranean bookends you’ll find grand symphonies by Beethoven and Elgar, and Brahms' moving “A German Requiem.” And Bay Area native Nigel Armstrong, at only 21 years old already a prizewinner in multiple international competitions, performs Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto no. 1.
