SORHEA MAXIBUS III HUB

1 INTRODUCTION

The Hub allows to centralize the alarm information of the SORHEA detectors (network nodes). It consists of a mother board managing up to 3 bus outputs, 8 alarm contacts. Additional alarm contacts are available with the 8-relay extension cards. 1.1 Main features

• Centralisation of alarm information of all detectors connected to the network.

• Automatic network configuration : - Detection of the detectors connected to the network - Detection of the number of available contacts

• Diagnosis of each detector. 1.2 Options

• 8-relay extension card (maximum of 16 extension cards)

4 IMPLEMENTATION 4.1 Preliminary steps

• Installation of the SOLARIS barriers. (see Manual NT261)

• Installation of the radio coordinator. (see Manual NT271)

Implementation precautions :

− Pay attention to the direction of the Radio Coordinator installation. (Antenna upwards)

− Install the Radio Coordinator outside, as high as possible, in an open space : ideally on the roof of the protected buildings.

− Install the Radio Coordinator inside the protected perimeter

4.6 Viewing the nodes

Click on « Consultation »

The connected nodes are located by :

• Their type (SOLARIS, COORDINATOR or TRANSMITTER)

• Their network address

• Their zone name

• Their status with regard to the memorized configuration in the Hub (3 different) :

− « Ok » : the parameters of the node are identical to those saved in the Hub.

− « Configuration error » : the parameters of the node are different from those saved in the Hub. (ex : replacement of a column on site)

− « Not connected » : the corresponding node does not answer anymore. (link with the Radio Coordinator is disconnected, column not powered, radio loss...)

To modify a zone name of one of the nodes « SOLARIS » or « TRANSMITTER », double-click on the line to be modified. Enter the new zone name then click on « Send » Note : a double-click on the node « COORDINATOR » opens access to the site maintenance.

(see §6.2 Maintenance Radio Coordinator)
