Sowhatisnowglobalization?
refers to an increasing interconnectedness and convergence of activities and forms of life among
diverse cultures throughout the world.
GlobalizationalsomeansProcesses of change which underpin in a transformation in the organization of human affairs linking together and expanding human activity across continents.
It is the movement of people (labor) and knowledge (technology) across
international borders.
SpecificExampleofGlobalizationIf you look at the tag on your shirt, chances are you would see that it was made in a country other than the one in which you sit right now. What's more, before it reached your wardrobe, this shirt could have very well been made with Chinese cotton sewed by Thai hands, shipped across the Pacific on a French freighter crewed by Spaniards to a Los Angeles harbor and imported to Philippine markets.
Motivated by economic forces and driven by digital technologies and communications, globalization links individuals and institutions across the world with unprecedented interconnection. (Vega, Prieto and Carreon, 2008, p. 83)

Being world‐class does not mean going internationally and showing our best out there. Being world‐class is passion and commitment to our profession; being world‐class is giving our best in teaching. Being a world‐class starts right inside the classroom.
