Kettering University Delegation Visited CATARC

On April 28, 2009 Dr. Stanley Liberty, President of Kettering University, and Dr. Michael Harris, Provost and Vice President of academic affairs,

visited CATARC Headquarters in Tianjin. Vice Party Secretary Ms. Niu Xiangchun and Vice President Mr. Zhang Jinhua warmly welcomed the

delegation.

During the meeting, Ms. Niu firstly introduced the history and current status about CATARC focusing on the personnel training, and expressed the

desire of wide cooperation with Kettering University in the aspects of technical communication and personnel training. Mr. Zhang further proposed

the suggestion of the cooperation in developing new energy. Dr. Liberty also introduced the history and great achievement of Kettering

University.

Kettering University, which grew out of famous GMI, has outstanding educational capacity and experience in majors of automotive, management,

mechanical and electrical engineering. In North America, Kettering University cooperates with more than 700 institutions and companies, and

many graduates hold a post in well-known companies such as GM, Ford, Delphi.

After that, they made comprehensive discussion about the training style of middle and high level management staff.
