General
The Kit for Pole Mounting makes it possible to mount the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet to a
pole. Minimum 2 persons should cooperate during this installation. Installation must be done by authorized personnel only.
The pole mounting kit makes it possible to mount the MicroPower cabinet to a pole with
minimum diameter 60mm and maximum diameter 115mm.
The Kit for Pole Mounting is designed to support the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet with one
battery bank. Do not put additional weight on top/into the system once it has been installed on a
pole.
Eltek Energy recommends that the system is powered down before installation of the kit.
Recommended tools
Standard equipment used by an authorized electrician. NOTE: All tools must be insulated.
Lifting equipment should be used for safety reasons.
Torque settings
• M8 screws pole mounting kit/rear side cabinet: 10 Nm
• M10 nuts for pole mounting kit/clamp jay: 12 Nm

1 Fix the 2 large cross-members
to the rear of the cabinet. The
distance from the top of the
cabinet to the upper bolts is
160mm. Use this distance to
find the preferred installation
height of the cabinet.

3 Demount the cabinet roof and
fix straps to the eye-bolts.
Lock the cabinet door so the
door does not swing during
lifting.
Lift the cabinet via the strapsto the pole with the rear bars
facing the pole. Balance the
cabinet to prevent it from
swinging.
NOTE! Do not lift the cabinet
with batteries installed.
Warning! Do not stay under
the cabinet during installation.
POLE
4 Fasten the support brackets on
the other side of the pole once
the cabinet is lifted to the
preferred installation level.Tighten with the included nuts.
Torque: 12Nm
5 Remove the straps and
remount the roof. The
electrical installation can now
begin.
