GeneralELW-2090 is ELTA's third generation of Airborne EarlyWarning & Control (AEW&C) systems.The system is mounted on a modified IL-76 transportaircraft. ELTA's integrated mission suite, with a powerful com-mand, control & communication system, supports avariety of operational missions such as:

IAI/ELTA Systems has vast experience in integratingtailor-made AEW&C and Multi-Mission systems onvarious platforms, adapted to customer requirements.

The ELW-2090 IL-76 AEW & C aircraft can be air-refueledfor extending mission time.

 Sensor Data Integration – The AEW&C integrates the dataof the onboard sensors (Radar, IFF, ESM/ELINT, CSM/COMINT,SPS/RWR) with the theater situation picture via highcapacity multiple Data Links.

The SPS is an integrated system with 360 o coverage including RadarWarning Receiver(RWR) and Missile Approach Warning System(MAWS). The SPS Countermeasures includeChaff & Flares Dispensers (CFD).

Electronic and Communication Support Mea-sures and Signal Intelligence capabilities withHigh Probability of Signal Interception (HPOI)and high bearing accuracy. The ESM/ELINTsubsystem supports the aircraft Self ProtectionSystem by also fulfilling the Radar Warning
