Shefshauen is a small town in the northwest of morocco and the town kept the style of 15th century’s construction.

According to the history, this town was found by people in 1471 and only 3 people had been

traveled to here until 1920.

The blue house of the 15th century is the special scene that travelers like.

This town is far from the city and with time goes by, more and more people know this place.

If you hang out in the town, you will feel peaceful and you don’t want leave here.

Lustrum 驱邪仪式

It’s a big ceremony , the actors are like wizards. People use Gnawa to driving out evil spirits, they will wear colorful clothes and have special make up.

Moroccans believe that Gnawa can use color ,belief and a sense of fear through the way of music and dance to cure the ancient people who were overwhelmed by disease or bate by scorpion.

The Bride's Day in Morocco

Morocco Aite - Hardy Berber tribes has the characteristics of the bride's day, also called moussem, it’s held annually in September, lasting three days.

At the age of 16, Morocco woman can get married, especially in rural areas.The marriages in some parts of Morocco are very grand.

Atlas Mountains in the north of Morocco hold “the Bride‘s Day ” once a year. Every Moroccan Berber man dress in a new tunic （道袍） , wear white cloth on head ,ride a donkey to Emir Plateau, to attend a three-day annual t"Bride Temple“ on "

Berber marriage is different; they propose to their beloved girl, and sign the engagementin the “Bride Temple”.

"The Bride Temple" is a place where men and women express love with each other.

During the festival, the maiden who is ready to get married veils their faces and takes their place waiting for the suitor.

The suitors （求婚者） are the busiest persons who choose the beloved carefully among the girls. It is difficult to see their true facial appearance because all marria

geable girls wear the black veils. The suitors always play up to the relatives and friends of the girls and get their help.

If a young man takes a fancy to a girl, he will walk to her and talk to her. he stretches out his right hand; the girl also stretches out her right hand. At the same time, the girl’s relatives and friends put forward their views on the young man.If the girl does not like the young man, she will draw back her hand.And the young man leaves politely and chooses others.

If the girl also takes a fancy to the young man, she will let the young man hold her hand for a long time, they begin to talk enthusiastically.
