1926년 MR은 부하 상태에서 탭 변환을 가능하게 한 당시 기술력으론 혁신적인 제품인 on-load tap-changer를 발명한 이래 전압별로는 10kV에서 1,000kV까지, 전류별로는 170A에서 3,000A에 이르는 전 세계에서 가장 다양하고 독보적인 탭 체인저 제품군을 구축하였습니다.
그리고 이러한 탭 체인저는 순환전류를 제어하는 방식에 따라크게 리액턴스형과 저항형으로 나뉘며, 소호(arc quenching) 매체에 따라 오일을 사용한 오일 탭과 진공상태를 이용한 진공 탭으로 나눌 수 있습니다.
오늘날 MR의 우수한 전기 장비 제어기술력은 OLTC의 제어 및 감시에 국한되지 않고 변압기의 다른 주요 기능들을 모니터링하고제어하는 기술분야로 확장되었습니다. 더불어 MR은 무효전력보상기, 고전압 테스트 장비, 대기압 플라즈마 표면처리 기술에이르기까지 그 영역을 확장하였습니다.
이와 같이 MR은 다양한 분야의 새로운 기술 개발 및 연구를 통하여 혁신, 프로정신, 제품과 고객에 대한 책임의식을 실현해 갑니다.
The REINHAUSEN Group is made up of MR (Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen) with its roots dating back to 1868 in Regensburg in the southern part of Germany and 22 subsidiaries in 14 countries around the world. In addition to its core business of Transformer Control (TC), the group operates the following business units: Power Quality (PQ), Power Composites (PC), Highvolt Test Systems (HT) and Plasma Applications (PA).
Since MR invented the first revolutionary product – the„on-load tap-changer“ for on-load regulated power transformers in 1926, MR has established a unique assortment of on-load tap-changers with the most complete product range in the world. This product range covers applications for oil immersed (incl. special transformers) to dry-type transformers with voltage levels from 10 kV to 1,000 kV and rated through currents (single phase) from 170 A to 3,000 A, on-load tap-changers based on reactance or resistance type and arc quenching in oil and vacuum technologies.
Nowadays, MR’s intelligent transformer control has been ex-panded from the regulation and supervision of OLTCs to include monitoring of other important functions of the transformer. In addition, MR has developed its business in other technologies such as reactive power compensation, composite insulators, high voltage test equipment and plasma atmospheric pressure technology for surface finishing.
The research and application of new technologies and every improvement in technical criteria just reflects that MR is devoted to innovation, professionalism and responsibility for its products and customers.

RKR is located in Seoul, South Korea. It was set up in Korean early 2009 as a 100 % subsidiary of MR which is one of the world leaders in the on-load tap-changer market. RKR started its operation on April 1st, 2009. Its official opening ceremony was held on June 17th, 2009.
Reinhausen Korea provides customer-oriented service for transformer manufacturers & operators. For example, RKR ans-wers customer‘s requests promptly which is the most important thing in Korea. Additionally, the RKR staff‘s fluency in Korean permits ideal communication with customers. We can talk with them on the phone and have technical discussions directly with our customers. This point gives our customers trust and makes access easy.
RKR‘s frequent visits to Korean customers create a strongrelationship with our customers. This is extremely important and integral part of RKR‘s mission.
MR, MESSKO and its products have been in the market for over 40 years. All employees in RKR have experience in technology and service and are prepared to meet the customer‘s demands.
