MPS2

INNER MOLD

Gracias a CarboFlex, manteniendo un pivote principal, logramos eliminar los puntos de giro del basculante, estructurando el mismo para que flexe de forma uniforme con la compresión del amortiguador trasero. El sistema CarboFlex resulta en una suspensión más reactiva que dibuja mejor las irregularidades del terreno y mejora el agarre tanto en tracción como en las curvas.

Thanks to CarboFlex, keeping a main pivot, the remaining pivot points on the swing arm flexes uniformly with the rear shock compression. CarboFlex system results in a more reactive suspension that draws the terrain better and improves traction and cornering capacities.

MPS2 es un sistema simple y eficiente de suspensión progresiva formado por dos bieletas, (una de grande y una microbieleta) que otorga mayor reactividad y sensibilidad a los amortiguadores de aire, acercándolos al máximo al comportamiento y prestaciones de los amortiguadores de muelle. Es una tecnología ideal para amortiguadores de largo recorrido.

Investigando a fondo las propiedades y manipulación de las fibras de carbono en los procesos de producción de nuestros cuadros, hemos desarrollado una nueva tecnología de fabricación con la creación de un molde interno que presiona las fibras de carbono, aplastándolas contra la pared interna del molde externo, y eliminando residuos y partículas de aire que quedan suspendidas entre las fibras. El resultado son unos tubos o paredes más delgadas y más resistentes, por consiguiente, los cuadros mucho más ligero.

MPS2 is a suspension system that provides greater responsiveness and sensitivity to air springs, bringzem closer to the maximum the behavior and performance of spring isolators. This is only possible thanks to the development of new suspension system exclusive MSC Bikes, the MPS2 (Multi Progressive Suspension 2), which lets you put the compression curve and the progressive rear suspension where we want before making the box.

We have been investigating in-depth the properties and manipulation of carbon fibers in the processes of production of our frames and we have developed a new manufacture technology creating an internal mold which presses carbon fibers, squashing them against the internal wall of the external mold, and removing residues and air particles between fibers. As a result we have thinner and more resistant tubes and walls resulting in the lighter frames.

Los moldes del cuadro se dividen en dos piezas únicas que van unidas en la zona central, eliminando racores y puntos de unión que puedan comprometer la rigidez del cuadro.

MSC Bikes siempre se ha relacionado con innovación y queremos mantener el mismo afán de aventura y experimentación en nuestros futuros proyectos.

Desde la primera transmissión integrada fabricada en serie hasta nuevos conceptos de suspensión basados en la flexión del carbono o plataformas como el MPS2 que marcan un “antes” y un “después” en la adaptabilidad de los amortiguadores de aire sobre cualquier tipo de bicicleta.

Gracias a los conocimientos cosechados de la experiencia en la industria aeroespecial y aeronáutica europea, MSC Bikes i Amade colaboran desde hace unos años en el complejo cálculo de las fibras composite y un minucioso ensayo con tests de prueba para ver dónde y por qué se producen las roturas en el carbono.

De este modo, podemos averiguar con total exactitud las razones que han llevado a una rotura durante los tests y, así, poder solucionarla al 100%.

Neither adapters nor joint points between the carbon fibre tubes. You will not find any MSC Bikes frame made with more than two monocoque pieces, both for the front triangle and for the rear swingram assembly.
