The project founded on the extension of Mubarak Public Library. Spaces were added to the main building to im-plement new activities, and increase the size to accommodate more visitors. The development consists of a courtyard gathering the old reading hall, the added auditorium, exhibition hall, multimedia hall and children’s library through the path.The main feature is the pathway that takes visitors around the development, It functions as a guide to the visitors in the library.

Contradiction between the two viewpoints provide a glimpse of a dominance which one might try and enforce over the other, creating a battle scenario. The form follows the shap of cells.The philosophical concept: The coral reefs solid part is the dead part which grow because of the other live part. This or-ganisms which make the reproductive process.The target was to create a building has the ability to gather both of the dead part (third world countries) and the live part (first world countries) to preserve the marine life.

The concept design stage was already approved by Public Park Department. Modifications were requested for preliminary design stage.
