ITI台灣分會將在 2018年九月二十九日至三十日在台北士林科教館舉行今年的年會，兩天的學術活動可謂精銳盡出，植牙治

療的手術與贋復兼備，週六由國內菁英中的菁英董醒任與許綺

我們台灣牙醫界的朋友們對 Dr. Paolo Casentini 會比較陌生，他是一位大帥哥，學識淵博且技術一流。他是現任 ITI義大利分會的會長，在歐洲他可是頂頂有名。他的專長是利用植牙治療

來做整合性口腔重建。重要的觀念是以贋復為導向的軟硬組織

修復。從他最新和 Dr. Ma� eo Chiapasco一起出版在 Periodontology 2000的文章可以一窺究竟（Vol.77:213–240, 2018）。另外，學術主委陳俊榮醫師的好兄弟 Dr. Panos Papaspyridakos也會帶來前牙植牙數位化的應用共襄盛舉。當然我們也邀請兩位國內重量

ITI國際植牙研究團隊從開始就遵循的原則，乃是需要經由科學實證和臨床長期結果的分析，以達到持久且成功的植牙，因

此 ITI所編輯的治療指引（Treatment guide），一直是主導和帶領此領域的經典理念和術式。雖然植牙治療在臺灣蓬勃進展已

近 30年，但如何能在美觀區完美呈現植牙的效果，仍是植牙醫師們最大的挑戰。

今年臺灣 ITI的年會將特別邀請東西方的植牙專家們一起來探討並分享與此有關的議題 : 包括有來自歐洲的 Dr. Paolo

Casentini，美國的 Dr. Panos Papaspyridakos；以及臺灣的董醒任醫師和許綺真醫師。演講內容將從擬定跨專科的治療計畫、配合使用現今數位時代的工具、再到以贋復

為導向的正確植牙處置過程等等，必使與會的醫師們能清楚明瞭在前牙美觀區植

Fixed Implant-Prosthodontic Options for Edentulous Patients

AbstractAs the average life expectancy is constantly increasing and with that the percentage of those being 65 and older, it becomes clear that the incidence rate of complete edentulism will remain constant or even increase over the next decades. Hence, the need for implant-prosthodontic treatment for edentulous patients will increase and the incidence of complications will increase as well. Full-arch implant rehabilitation has significantly changed over the years and the introduction of rough surface implants, new materials and techniques, and digital technology represent new tools to the clinicians' armanentarium. � is presentation will review the current scienti� c evidence and contemporary trends and clinical protocols for implant-prosthodontic treatment options for edentulous patients, as well as the most common complications encountered. A series of clinical cases will also be presented and the bene� ts and limitations of incorporating digital technology in full-arch implant rehabilitation will be highlighted.

AbstractDigital technology is gaining increased popularity in all aspects of Implant Dentistry, from digital imaging and computer-planned, template-guided implant placement to digital impressions and CAD/CAM prostheses. Virtual planning so� ware for implant treatment planning and digital impressions can be combined with CAD/CAM technology for efficient workflow. This presentation will address the current scientific status and the clinical applications of digital technology during � xed implant rehabilitation in the anterior maxilla.

AbstractThis Course has been conceived to present modern and scientifically based protocols to optimize planning and clinical outcome in the esthetic area, specially for those cases that present so� /hard tissues defects� e Prosthetically Guided Regeneration protocol will be presented step by step, in order to guide a rationale treatment of esthetic complex treatments.� e course will also include an evaluation of the di� erent factors that may in� uence

the clinician in the choice among di� erent biomaterials and di� erent reconstructive techniques. � e state of the art about so� tissue reconstruction and conditioning around implants will also be presented.A selection of HD Videos of the main surgical procedures will allow participants to achieve a higher degree of learning.

Zirconia restorations have been increasingly popular because of their biocompatibility and good mechanical properties. However, they are difficult to adjust, repair, or replace. Low temperature degradation, wear, and bond strength have always drawn a lot of scienti� c a� ention. In addition, veneer chipping is the major complication of the zirconia-based restorations. The development of full contour zirconia restorations promises an end of heartbreak of porcelain chipping on posterior crowns and bridges. Monolithic zirconia crown is considered as one of the trends in dental treatment. Meanwhile, a new generation of zirconia has been introduced to improve optical properties. However, scientific evidence is needed to recommend this relatively new application for clinical use. This presentation will focus on the development and current status of the zirconia. The issues as mentioned above will be discussed and the clinical applications of zirconia in implant dentistry will be presented as well.
