Sailors on board Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka will shift to summer uniforms beginning 0001 on Monday, May 15.
California will conduct a special primary election on April 4. If you are a California resident from the 34th Congressional District, register and request an absentee ballot today at FVAP.gov.
COMMENT: I would like to attend Ash Wednesday services; however, there is not a Protestant service offered. All three of the services offered are Roman Catholic services. I am submitting this for the 6th year in a row in the hopes that at some point this issue will be rectified. In addition, it is my hope that a Protestant Good Friday service will be offered in the evening (not during

RESPONSE: We at the Fleet Activities Yokosuka Chapel of Hope certainly understand your frustration of not having a Protestant Ash Wednesday Service. The only Protestant Chaplain, whose tradition
is to celebrate an Ash Wednesday service, isTAD and will be PCSing soon. One of the hard things, and yet one of the strengths, is the diversity of religions within our Chaplain Corps. Because detailers cannot assign to chapels and commands based on the faith group of the Chaplain, we at times fall short of the ability to provide all the desired services.
